General Information

Centurion is located between Midrand and Pretoria along the N1 and N14 national roads in the Gauteng Province.  It was previously an independent municipality but as of year 2000 it forms part of the Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality.

Centurion (previously Verwoerdburg) was founded in 1964 and has a fast-growing rural development.  Centurion has relatively mild weather all year round, with dry, sunny winters and hot summers days which often end with afternoon showers.
